History & Commitment
Upon arriving
in this beautiful land, we were captivated by what we saw: The
richness of a new country and the land of many opportunities!
Many things in our new country were intriguing to us and we reveled
in the contrast. While embracing our new culture, we still craved
our foods, spices, and our quesos and cremas!
In this great country of many cultures, we longed for authentic
products from our homeland. Not finding many, we brought to our
new home the knowledge and traditions from our native countries.
Finally, our dishes had the authentic home-style flavor that
we yearned for!
With a winning combination of old-world traditions and new-world
technology, we now bring you the very best that we have to offer!

Cacique© - A Work in Progress
Big things often
start small. We were no exception. Cacique® started in a
tiny, abandoned facility next to a drive-in dairy in 1973. Starting
their day at 2am, our founders produced 100 pounds of cheese
each day in that small space, staying true to the old world traditions
taught to them in their native land. Today, Cacique® has
grown to a 200,000 square foot advanced state-of-the-art computer
controlled facility. Only USDA Grade A milk is used to assure
the highest standards of purity and quality. In fact, we are
one of the most sophisticated cheese manufacturing facilities
in the world.
We've come a long way from our humble beginnings, but some things
haven't changed. We're still family owned and operated, giving
our personal attention to each and every detail, as if it were
yesteryear.
Technology Meets Tradition
Two words that seem like they don't mix. But, at our facility,
technology and tradition do embrace. Cutting-edge manufacturing
methods and state-of-the-art computerization create products
of such authenticity that it compliments our heritage!
You wouldn't give your family anything but the best, right? Since
we think of our consumers as family, we use nothing but the best
to make our cheeses and creams. That means the exclusive use
of Grade A milk.
Research & Development: A Tireless Quest for
the Best
We believe "the best" can always be better. Our Research
and Development Department does just that. They find new ways
to improve on our already outstanding quality, striving to make
us surpass… well, us! Our Research and Development team
stays on the road to discovery, constantly generating new and
innovative ideas that extend our distinguished line, such as
Yonique®, The Yogurt You Drink™.
